AltherixLabs sells lyophilized compounds for in-vitro laboratory research only, to buyers aged 21 and over within the United States. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our research use only policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

These terms and conditions apply to altherixlabs.com and to every order placed with AltherixLabs (“AltherixLabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, our refund and returns policy and our research use only policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Eligibility

To use this website and purchase from us, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Be purchasing for lawful in-vitro laboratory research
  • Have a shipping address within the United States

We may ask for information to confirm your eligibility, and we may decline or cancel any order where we are not satisfied that these conditions are met.

3. Research use only

All products are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics or foods, and they are not intended for human or veterinary use or to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. By ordering, you accept full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use and disposal of every product you buy. Full details are set out in our research use only policy.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms.

5. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order. We may refuse or cancel any order, limit quantities, or cancel an order placed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect description, in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

6. Pricing and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed by our payment provider, and orders may be screened for fraud before they are released. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already accepted.

7. Shipping

We ship within the United States only. Orders placed by 2pm ET on a business day usually ship the same day, tracked. Delivery dates given by the carrier are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address entered at checkout. Problems with delivery are handled under our refund and returns policy.

8. Returns and refunds

Cancellations, damaged or incorrect items, lot quality concerns and refunds are covered by our refund and returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Product information and lab reports

Every lot is tested by an independent ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory and its Certificate of Analysis is published in our COA library. Results apply only to the lot tested, at the time it was tested. Product descriptions are provided for research reference only and make no claim about the effect of any compound in a person or animal. The appearance of a lyophilized powder may vary slightly between lots.

10. Prohibited uses

You must not:

  • Use, sell or supply any product for human or veterinary consumption
  • Resell products while representing them as anything other than research compounds
  • Provide false information to obtain products or open an account
  • Copy, scrape or interfere with the operation or security of this website

We may cancel orders and close accounts where we believe any of these uses is intended.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs and lab report layouts, belongs to AltherixLabs or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own research records, but you may not reproduce, publish or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Products are supplied to the specification shown on their lot’s Certificate of Analysis. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and all products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. See our disclaimer for more detail.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AltherixLabs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or any product, including loss arising from use contrary to these terms. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AltherixLabs harmless from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or from your handling, use or misuse of any product.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [STATE].
